You may not even notice the extra power. You could take a crow bar and bust through the center of the cat and hollow it out, it's not that hard to do, then the car will look like it has 2 cats on it but it will just be hollow, same as a straight pipe and now less expensive because you don'r have to buy anything but maybe a gasket to replace the one you had to remove. which cheats the computer into thinking that you still have the cats. Removing the converter without doing something about the after-cat o2 will send off a "service engine" warning because the computer either thinks the converter is broken, or somthing is wrong with the sensor.
